Services With eager hope for the joy of worshiping in gathered community in next year's Easter season, this April we will, as in March, be worshiping in physical isolation but spiritual union throughout the significant days of the coming week. In the course of this week we remember our Lord's entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, his Last Supper with his disciples on Maundy Thursday, his death on Good Friday, and his glorious resurrection on Easter morning. For each of these services, the church will
provide via email an order of service bulletin with scripture readings and hymns and a link to a pre-recorded sermon, so that you may gather in your homes for a time of worship. Heads of
household, please make this a priority as a symbol of our unity as a
body of believers. Watch the announcements on this webpage for details of coming services. For Palm Sunday, here is the information that will enable you to unite in worship in spite of our separate locations: College Baptist Church has a tradition of a children’s palm processional to the classic hymn, “Hosanna, Loud Hosanna” on Palm Sunday to celebrate Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. We will miss enjoying this together; but we want to encourage families to re-create the processional at home.
Here are some tips for you to get prepared:
