Pastor Jason is almost finished with his five week sermon series: "Words to Live By." This series is an exploration of four theologically important, but often misunderstood words within Christianity: Repentance, Faith, Sanctification and Grace. CBC is proud to present The Marcella's Singers in their first musical presentation. "Christmas: When the Heart is Always Home" is the name of the program for 2011. This presentation will blend familiar Christmas songs with a heart-warming message of family and belonging and will definitely encourage your heart.

We
will be going to Minneapolis, MN this year to pack shoe boxes. The
Lord has changed our direction, and it seems that this is where we are
supposed to be this year. We will be leaving on Monday, November 28th
at 7:30am and returning on Friday, December 2nd. Our work days are
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of that week. We have Church Vans and
there is room for 25 total. Please let Sue Reed know if you can go this
year or contact the Church Office. All members and friends of College
Baptist Church are welcome on this trip.

There are a few of you who have taken the Spiritual Gifts test. Thank you for doing so. If you have not done so, please take a few minutes and complete this online test. It will give you a great start in discovering your personal purpose, role and mission within the Body of Christ at College Baptist Church. The test is about 50 questions so it won't take more than a few minutes. It's a test about YOU, so there's no need to study and there are no wrong answers!
